Moisture removal adsorbents : |

Molecular sieve and alumina used in Moisture
removal units are usually regenerated in-situ in swing reactors. However,
after several cycles of adsorption/desorption, the efficiency of the
adsorbent decreases until the cycle length becomes too short for an
efficient operation. An off-site
regeneration can be a good way to extend the life of the adsorbent.
A preliminary lab testing carried out on a representative sample can
be done to check to what extent the absorption capacity could be recovered. |

At the end of its life, the adsorbent can
be recycled
according to an environment friendly solution. |
