This guide shows the range of services provided
for catalysts used in oil refining and petrochemical processes.

Residue Hydrotreating (HDM/HDS) catalysts
: |
| |
Atmospheric and vacuum residue spent catalysts
usually have a high load of metals (vanadium, nickel) deposited during
the unit operation. |
 |
However, part of the catalyst load may be
less contaminated in metals and could be reused for another cycle
after regeneration
(usually the last reactor load in the HDS section). Eurecat is able
to carry out an regenerability
study on such catalysts and define with the customers which part
of the catalyst is reusable. |
 |
The non regenerable catalyst can be destroyed
with recovery of the valuable metals (principally V, Mo & Ni). Eurecat
can offer a global solution for the recycling of these catalysts,
including packaging & transport, roasting of the catalyst and a further
treatment through a pyrometallurgical process. |
