SULFICAT-processed catalyst contains the sulfur necessary for its activation. This activation, under hydrogen atmosphere, is quick, safe and easy.

CUSTOMIZED START-UP PROCEDURE

EURECAT can help the end user to develop the best possible start-up procedure. In order to do so, information about the unit configuration is needed. From answers to the questionnaire, we can elaborate start-up guidelines (see example).

A simulation program called EXSIM enables to customize the operating conditions for a given catalyst and a given unit. An example shows how good a fit can be obtained between the simulation and the real conditions and how the use of the simulation program helps predict the influence of one parameter.

EASY HANDLING

Presulfided catalyst can be handled as easily as fresh or regenerated catalyst. However, due to its self-heating property, some precautions must be taken. Please check our handling recommendations.
