Decision C(92)39 of the OECD council concerning the control of transfrontier
movements of wastes destined for recovery operations, adopted 30.03.92.
"It provides for a simplified means to control
the transboundary movements of wastes destined for recovery/recycling
operations which are environmentally sound within the OECD area that is
compatible with the Basel Convention. A three-tier system, based on the
overall risk to the environment and human health, serves to delineate
controls to be applied to such transfrontier movements."
(Has been established to facilitate trade between
OECD members)
