Specially designed and adapted roto-louvre ovens are used for both stripping, to remove excess free hydrocarbons, and regeneration.

Only a thin layer of catalyst is present in the continuously rotating oven ensuring a homogeneous regeneration. The regeneration reaction is monitored and controlled by several parameters (catalyst flow rate, process air temperature, air flow rate, continuous quality analyses, etc...).

The flexibility of EURECAT's process, in part due to the roto-louvre technology, makes it ideally suited for the treatment of a wide variety of catalysts.

Off gases are scrubbed to eliminate all environmental problems linked to the regeneration.
