The Procabat System

EURECAT may offer through the company PETROVAL, an In situ Sampling process, where the material to sampled is directly picked up inside the reactor.

No catalyst unloading is necessary, as the catalyst sample can be picked up directly inside the vessel.

The main advantage of this sampling is the possibility to determine the quality of the catalyst at a localized point of the reactor. This can be useful to determine, for example an actual catalyst contamination profile, by picking up few samples.

This can help for instance to determine the depth of the catalyst layer that needs to be removed during a reactor skimming operation.
